Folk Music Workshop – A Celebration of Rajasthan’s Rich Traditions
On 24th October 2024, the school auditorium echoed with the vibrant rhythms and melodies of Rajasthani folk music as part of a special workshop for our children. Presented by our partners of music in education, SaPa (Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts), the workshop featured renowned artists, Dare Khan Manganiar, Latif Khan, Eklash Khan, and Sawai Khan. Students were taken on a magical musical journey, exploring the rich traditions of the Manganiar and Langa communities.
The children clapped along, danced, and soaked in India's folk heritage with happy abandon! It was a wonderful celebration of culture, creativity, and connection through music!
