Annual Sports Day 2024-2025
Our much-awaited Annual Sports Day was held on 14th August 2024 with great enthusiasm and pride. Parents joined us in large numbers and cheered the young athletes. The event began with a House-wise March Past, the Torch Ceremony and hoisting the School Flag. A set of smart drill displays by the various levels, won the hearts of the audience! The School Marching Band by the Grade 8 students put up a splendid show. Special events for the parents roused much laughter and bonhomie! Prizes were also awarded to the many winners of the athletic events that had been held outside school at a sports stadium. The March Past Award went to Kamal House. The Athletic Trophy went to Kamal House.
Overall Winners:
- Kamal House
- Vishal House
- Nihal House
In a special school initiative, NAFLTY with 100% Attendance were felicitated by the Mentor Principal and Associate Principals. The five proud winners were Ms. Anju Anil, Ms. Deepinder Kaur, Ms. Nidhi Rastogi, Ms. Preeti Harish and Mr. Raghu M P.
Another heartwarming moment was the announcement of NAFL’s Outstanding Kindness Awards. Open to students of Grade 5 and Grade 10 who have completed five years of study at NAFL, this was a standout moment to our faith we are one team, one community, one humanity who transact life as responsible, respectful, caring, lifelong learners and leaders. The process has been carried out every year for the last two years and votes have been counted and stored. We get our students to fill in a survey form voting for peers who display exceptional grace and heart during the school year. The Grades 5 and 10 data of this year was studied against previous years’ votes by the same cohorts. A list of students who won most of the votes were shortlisted. The teachers from Primary School studied the list and cast their vote for the Grade 5 frontrunner. The team from Middle and Senior School cast their votes to declare the Grade 10 victor.
We are proud to announce our very first set of proud awardees - Siddharth Prakash of Grade 5 and Shashank Rajeev of Grade 10! The parents of both students were invited to join the spotlight and receive the magnificent mementos!
The day was a perfect blend of values, pride in school and joyful togetherness!
